Some stories in life stand out more than others. This one is
incredible! With riders from several categories on the course, Mark
Mills and the race leaders are completely halted by a full grown MOOSE
walking out onto the trail in directly in front of them. The moose
doesn't move! With the race rapidly closing in from behind, they had no
where to go. Finally another rider comes flying down the trail past
Mark and the leaders only to notice the Moose almost too late.. Full
skid stop!, "That's a MOOSE! Anyway, the moose finally started
proceeding down the trail with race leaders in pursuit until finally
yielding the right-of-way. Oh yeah... that happens all the time!

few weeks earlier, and after weeks of consistently top results in the
Winter Park / Epic series, Mark Mills took Third overall in the series
in Mens's singlespeed!
